The loud roar of the crashing waves are behind me as high tide begins to creep in nearing sunset on a warm August evening. The rock layers and texture are amazing throughout this area. When I see the bell, I can't help to think of Hells Bells.
Before human social distancing, the gulls were doing it, but why?
Usually when at the ocean I am taking oceanscapes, of course, right? In this case, I was looking away from the ocean and a path to take me to my next shot. As I looked up, the back lighting of this tourist taking pictures with his cell phone and the backdrop of the amazing clouds was not what I was expecting. Many great landscape shots are ones that were never planned. Get out and explore. Where will you go next?
