At the end of a short little road in the town of Breman, Maine is this quiet little spot at Muscongus Bay.The gulls were flying, but they were sure to be quiet and not to disturb their neighbors.
Early sunrise on the bay. The mosquitoes were almost intolerable. Thankfully, the kind couple up for the sunset left me their can of bug spray as they departed so I could capture the many pine tree islands scattered along the horizon.
The loud roar of the crashing waves are behind me as high tide begins to creep in nearing sunset on a warm August evening. The rock layers and texture are amazing throughout this area. When I see the bell, I can't help to think of Hells Bells.
